San Sebastian

Well it's all true. San Sebastian is a beautiful city. Although it was overcast and a bit wet for the first couple of days, this did not dampen our enthusiasm for the old city area and all of the Pintxos Bars and wonderful shops which offered good value. Sue was able to pick up a couple of items to add to her summer wardrobe. Our last full day was bathed in sunshine. The locals and tourists took full advantage of this. We saw a large marching band winding its way through the narrow streets to a large square where they entertained the crowd and themselves.
Nearer to the water front we found ourselves in a large group of immaculately dressed men, women and children. All attending one of two weddings. I particularly liked the massive Imperial wedding car.
