Mijas Exploring

After a fabulous breakfast of fresh fruit, Swiss muesli, croissants & coffee we all headed up to the town of Mijas which is bigger than we expected. All painted white by law the buildings reflect the light and make the smaller streets bright. Most homes have pot plants on frames hanging on the wall with various colourful flowers on display. At the moment the town is preparing for the festival that will start next week, so there are many decorations around the squares and adorning the streets overhead. Mijas is also a centre for quality leather goods. The prices are very flexible. Walking out of the shop is a great motivator for the vendor to try another price. So far only a wallet has been purchased. We will see what happens tomorrow.
